How we look after your details.
What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to ask us to change or delete it.
Who we are
Rowley's is run by Rowley's Restaurants Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08226096), with its registered office at 113 Jermyn Street, London SW1Y 6HJ. We are the data controller for the personal information described here, and we are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number Z9597330). Questions about your data: info@rowleys.co.uk or 020 3093 3344.
What we collect, and why
Bookings. Your name, phone number, email, party size, date and any notes. We use them to hold your table and contact you about it. Bookings are made through OpenTable, which has its own privacy policy.
Allergies and dietary needs. If you tell us about an allergy or a medical dietary need, we use it only to prepare your meal safely, and only with your consent.
Private dining and Christmas enquiries. The details you send us, so we can reply and plan your event.
Gift vouchers. Bought through Toast, our payment provider. Toast processes the payment; we never see your full card details.
The Rowley's Letter. Your email address, only if you sign up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Website visits. Basic information about how the site is used, through cookies (see below).
Our legal basis
We use your details to take and fulfil your booking (a contract), to run the restaurant properly (our legitimate interests), to meet legal duties such as accounting records, and, for the newsletter and allergy information, with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that run our systems for us: OpenTable (bookings), Toast (payments and gift vouchers), Mailchimp (our email newsletter) and Squarespace (this website). They may only use your details to provide that service. We never sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it. Financial records are kept for six years, as the law requires. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop us using it. Email us and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. This site uses cookies that it needs to work, and, only if you agree, cookies that tell us how people use it. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie banner, or in your browser settings. The OpenTable booking form and Toast gift voucher pages set their own cookies; see their policies.
